15 minutes..nahi toh gone!

I saw Ghajini a few days ago. I must admit I was impressed.Aamir khan has really put in a lot of hard work and as always he has acted well.Asin has made an impressive debut. She’s lovely as the chirpy bubbly filled with goodness ‘typical hindi movie’ heroine! :)though I found some similarity between her voice and Sri devi’s ,her’s is less shrill though but even she’s got that south Indian accent.

There’s one thing about bollywood movies,or should I the the movies churned our by the’Indian film fratenity’ ,( it seems that what its called these days, months after ‘Bollywood’ was officially accepted as a word in the oxford dictionary! Its strange that they should shun international recognition when its finally granted!) , most of them defy logic! Ghajini is no exception. It’s a bit hard to belive that every fifteen minutes you need to be reminded the whole story of your life and then you are expected to go and ‘revenge’ your girlfriend’s murder!you can go on a killing spree and all that the police does is send one police inspector behind you whom you have successfully encaged in your own house. Cool..,the level of security in out country ( as shown in this movie as well as any other bollywood movie) is laudable! plus all those music videos which have been included!

The fact is if you stop looking for logic, you actually end up enjoying the most bollywood movies Like a friend of mine commented , when I told him that I found 'Rab ne bana di jodi' stupid, that actually we are not supposed to use our brain while watching srk movies.(p.s:he’s a sucker for srk movies!)

Ok,enough bashing bollywood and ghajini..i still loved the movie! !Its a fultoo entertainer! Action,emotion,drama,romance-you said it! The love story presented is too cute..you actually feel like drowsing aamir back to sleep when he suddenly interrupts the flash back love story !:)
‘kaise mujhe tum mil agye’ is my favorite track these days(I am an ardent A.R Rehman fan!) and I loved it even more when I saw it as a nicely placed situational song!In short, a cool movie! I didn’t even realize how the three hours flew past!

p.s :I have made sure that I watch “Memeto” !

Numero uno

This is my first post. And man, am I not excited! I have been thinking of starting this blog since quite a while but it never really materialized in pen and paper (or more appropriately keyboard and monitor!).So now that I have finally found the time, inclination and the urge to sit down and pen my thoughts, I am looking forward to having a good time.

I have been a regular reader of lots of blogs and always wished to start one of my own! Finally I am at it! Yeppie!! Moreover I wanted to give myself a new year gift! what better than my own blog! By the way a very Happy New Year to everyone!

I used to write diaries when I was in 10th -11th…but the habit died down with time..or should I say ‘without time’!!!You know how it is “the 12th standard!!” ..and that too if its the dreaded ISC syllabus your admitted into, you are sure to see demons even in broad day light! Plus all that entrance exam frenzy. Oh yes! , like most of the youth today, I too went though that phase- u need to make that ‘deciding decision’ of your life, you need to decide what do you want to do with your life ,which stream to you want to pursue ,what are your interests.?! That’s when you sit down and seriously think -what are your strengths and weaknesses, what are you good at etc etc..

Or do you?? Seriously? Did I do all that? Naah!!

Me thinks all this is just superficial talk..Everyone says this but hardly anyone actually does it. Yeah I would surely advice others to do it, I too had been advised to do so. But like most other people, I did not! Most people just follow the ‘most trodden path’ just to be on the safer side. Me being no exception. And the result? Here I am trying to perceive, with a perturbed mind, the ramblings an engineering course has to offer! Come to think of it, it ain’t all that bad, moreover frankly speaking I can’t think of anything else I could have bettered at.

You know what is the weird part of all this?I find it hard to believe that in an year or so I did be working (read screwing up the work) in some software company.(provided I get a job in these times of ‘‘recession!!”) I would be trusted with projects! I did be managing clients!! Sounds exciting huh?!Sure it does, at least to me!..Hehe…but all these seemingly exciting dreams come crashing down when I actually think of drubbing my away my life in some MNC ! I have heard they squeeze out of you every last ounce of energy you can possibly contain! Now THAT doesn’t sound exciting!:(

Well whatever’s in store for me, I am surely looking forward to it.:)

I think everyday when you wake up you should hope that its going to be the best day of your life!(notice the clever use of ‘you’ instead of ‘I’?! that’s because I do not follow that philosophy but I really like that thought !: p you see ,advice is such a thing which you always get for free! So is opinion! The other day I read somewhere-opinions are like wrist watches, everyone has one and each one thinks his is right!! How true na?!)

So I guess this blog too will be full of my own wristwatches..oops !i mean opinions..perceptions…assuming them to be right……. while you are more than welcome to differ!:)
